Anne and I met in college at Point Park University – got married
the same month we graduated and started into youth ministry. After leading a community Youth Group for 4
years, I then transitioned into leading the Christian Education in general for our
church. In 2010 we started attending
Life Point Church because our family had grown and the travel made it difficult
to serve in the ways we felt God was calling. As a family, we have been blessed to be a part of Life
Point.
We wanted to put this page here for you in case you do not
know us.
Rianne – the youngest Fisher, is six years old and very independent,
yet still loves being around others. She’s
an adventurous girl through and through and smart as a whip! She will keep you
laughing and amazed with the things she says.
Annabelle – is ten years old. She is our tender-hearted, compassionate
child. She loves to help others and see
their happiness above her own. She was
saved during the process of us preparing to go to Jamaica and was baptized in the Caribbean! She wants to
own a coffee shop or be a missionary when she grows up, and spends a lot of time drawing, painting and playing music.
Noah – is twelve years old.
He is very intelligent; sometimes he’s too smart! He loves to read and goes through books like
Rianne goes through napkins. All of our
kids love video games like most American children, but Noah wants to go to
college for game programming and practices code and scripting in software. Noah was also saved around the same time Annabelle was and was baptized in Jamaica!
Anne – is from Columbus, Ohio. She started at Point Park University as a Dance
major, and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She served in various ways at Life Point,
worked part-time as an administrator for a nursing home, and taught aerobic dance (Zumba), Power Barre and water aerobics at local gyms and wellness
centers. She loves to teach and she
loves Jesus – so her past experiences have come together perfectly by God’s
will to serve in this way. She continues to help with the paperwork for the nursing home, but focuses on homeschooling the children while we are here in Benton, AR.
Ben – is from Washington, Pennsylvania. He started at Point Park University as a Film
and Photography major, and graduated with a degree in English and Secondary
Education. He knew he wanted to serve in
ministry before graduation. He had a full-time job as an Engineer for a Plastic Company and served as the Discipleship Pastor at Life Point Church. He currently is attending The Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock and delivers pizza part-time. He loves to write, develop curriculum, help
others grow in their faith regardless of where they are, and serve in and where
he is needed.
I wanted you all to know that I and my family are praying for you. God has big plans for you all--and I cannot wait to see what He has in store! God bless, Carolyn
